Evaporative Body, Multiplying Body is the working title of a concept in which Alan Schacher and I are researching ways in which the body can evaporate and multiply, change its very substance, transmute, relocate. Concepts like possession, ghosting, vibrational energy, reality and projection will be examined physically and by means of augmentation in light, projection and media.
The research phase took place within a Critical Path-UNSW Dance Residency in 2018. We collaborated with artists Mike Leggett (experimental video & film) and Fausto Brusamolino (lighting design).
This project, along with 7 others have been picked up by Keir Choreographic Award. Our project was supported with 100 hours of development with Fausto Brusammolino and sound artist, Hirofumi Uchino.
